I am an Artist, Arts Administrator, Teacher, and Curator in Albuquerque, NM.
As the Director of Harwood Art Center’s Creative Roots community outreach program I coordinate youth art classes at Wells Park and Barelas Community Centers and teach at the University of New Mexico Hospital’s Child Life program.
I co-curate exhibitions with vashti b at Inpost Artspace at Outpost Performance Space.
As an Art Consultant I coordinate exhibitions at Flying Star restaurants and Satellite coffee shops. There are six locations that get new art every three months so I coordinate two shows each month.
In my own art I work primarily with the vintage materials that I find in resale shops and at estate sales. My work incorporates the idealized images of advertisements, album covers, dress patterns, and magazines from the 1950’s, ‘60’s, and ‘70’s.
